National Book Month Attorney Profile – Addison Covert

1. Why do you enjoy representing school districts?

I enjoy representing school districts because public education is such an important part of who we are and where we are headed as a society. I like the idea that I'm able to play a role in helping that process.

2. Where did you go to school?

I started out in Compton at Compton City School District. Then moved to Fullerton attending Fullerton Elementary School District and Fullerton High School District graduating from Sunny Hills High School (go Lancers!). I attended University of California Santa Barbara for undergraduate and then on to Golden Gate Law School in San Francisco.

3. What is your favorite childhood book?

My favorite children's book is Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.

4. Who is your favorite person to read about in a book?

My favorite person to read about is Abraham Lincoln. Born

5. What are you currently reading?

I currently have two books I'm reading. The first is California Field Guide Atlas by Obi Kaufmann and the second is Ardennes 1944 by Antony Beevor.
