As most schools are back in person for the fall, this year will bring continued and additional changes for many of our clients.
Parker & Covert welcomes many changes this fall as well.
Attorney Stacy L. Toledo has been promoted to partner. Stacy will continue her integral role in representing our clients in areas of facilities, finance, bonds, general business and tax matters.
Partner Steven Montanez has retired after 24 years of dedicated service to our clients. He begins his new role within Parker & Covert as Of Counsel providing ongoing services to our many clients in a more limited role.
The firm welcomes new associate Elizabeth Nguyen to the Tustin office. Elizabeth graduated from USC Gould School of Law in 2019 and previously practiced plaintiff's side personal injury law. At Parker & Covert, she works on personnel and employment matters. Outside of work, she likes playing escape rooms and going to improv shows.
The firm welcomes Casper Gorner as a law clerk to the Sacramento office. Casper graduated from the UC Davis School of Law in 2021 and joined Parker and Covert shortly after taking the California Bar. He currently works with the firm in contractual compliance matters, as well as assisting with litigation and general obligation bond elections. When not working he enjoys being a Giants/Warriors fan and reading and discussing science fiction.
The firm also welcomes legal assistant Grace Sanchez to the firm. Grace Sanchez is the new legal assistant for the firm's Sacramento office. She is in the process of obtaining her paralegal certificate and will be assisting the firm with paralegal projects, including research, and drafting agreements and correspondence. In her spare time, she enjoys spoiling her dogs and learning how to sew.
